Waking Up

In the morning waking up is the hardest thing for me.  I always stay in bed for longer than I am meant to. I gazed around my room, all I could see are was photos of me riding, ribbons and rosettes.

As I rolled over I noticed my bedroom door was open. Through my door I noticed the kitchen door was open. In the kitchen I could see my sisters munching furiously on their breakfast and guzzling down their juice. Mum's drinking her coffee really slowly, taking her time as mums do.

When I finally got up, I got dressed and thought about what I was going to eat for breakfast. In my house there is not many options but I decided I was going to scoff a toastie and some sausages.  I feel all relaxed.  The last thing I said to mum was “I don't want to go to school.”
